BNI is a 25 year old business and professional organisation that allows only one person from each trade or profession to join a chapter. With over 5,778 active chapters, and 132,562 members, it is the most successful business referral organisation in the world.
Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of sales people working for you because all the other members carry copies of your card with them. When they meet someone new that could use your products or services they hand out your card and personally recommend your services.
It’s as simple as that! Last year members of BNI passed 6.2 million referrals, which generated more than €1.8 billion worth of business.
Each Chapter Meeting follows an Agenda that is proven to maximise the business opportunities for the Members. We work on the principle of ‘Givers Gain’ – if I find business for you, you will want to find business for me.
We allow only ONE Member per profession or trade, so if you visit us, like what you see and decide that BNI can help you find more business, once you submit an application and it is accepted you LOCK OUT YOUR COMPETITION!
Being active in BNI is like having up to 40 sales people working for you, because your fellow members will be carrying your cards and referring your business to people they meet, without you having to pay them any salaries or commission.
Our Chapter meets over breakfast at The Custom House, 1, Abbey Road, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria LA14 5UF, on Friday mornings. You are welcome to visit us, free of charge, but please bring about 50 business cards – you will need them! You will have the opportunity to tell us about what you do and the kind of business you are looking for, and see for yourself how BNI works.
