Furness Enterprise is Cumbria’s main business support agency who’s objectives are to help the people and businesses of Furness create a more diverse economic base for the Furness area.
The business support programme is aimed at providing help to new and existing micro businesses and small to medium size enterprise in the Furness area on all aspects of running a business. This includes advice, support, training, events and discretionary grants to local companies to expand and facilitate inward investment into the area.
An additional service for job creation and safeguarding is the Workshop which assists unemployed individuals from Barrow to gain employment.
